NASHVILLE FILM PERMIT FEES + REQUIREMENTS
As of August 2026, Metro Nashville lists the following film permit fees:
Film Permit Application: $230
Special Event Filming: $235
The Special Event Filming fee applies to certain large-scale setups, multi-day productions or significant use of the public right-of-way.
Keep in mind that the film permit fee may not be the total permitting cost for your production. Additional fees may apply if your shoot requires:
Metro Parks permits
Street, lane or sidewalk closures
Police or traffic control
Parking permits
Other Metro or state approvals
